The Koch Ltd. was founded in 1928 by Mr Carl Koch. Since 1987 it has been in the hands of the family Borter. Mr Hans Borter took over the company from Mr Carl Koch. The 80-years-old company tradition has been in special printed matter. Initially, the production was limited to cardboard packaging. During the second world war the production was switched to cigar labels. It was the main business for a long time. With the introduction of electronic data processing in the middle of the fifties, the punch card became the principal business. In the beginning of the seventies followed the decisive step towards production of self adhesive labels. This accounts for 90% of our turnover now.
